Cookplay was created in Bilbao 2014 by the basque industrial designer Ana Roquero.
With a polyhedral profile she was educated in London (First at Kingston University) and is a great generator of ideas working with the best spanish companies as external consultant during 20 years.
As a registered crafts consultant by the german government, she designed a wide range of highend design products; professional knives for ARCOS, ticket vending machines of Bilbao subway under the supervision of Norman Foster, Kitchen concepts for FAGOR in collaboration with Dominique Perrault and Bilbao and Madrid stores for menswear MAN 1924, on wich Scott Schuman ( The sartorialist) was quoted: “My new favourite store”.

Jomon has been awarded with the Red Dot Design Award in 2014, and was selected for Maison&Object, September 2014, as the most impressive new product of the show, “Les Decouvertes” Award, and nowadays is nominated tableware of the year 2014 by Elle Decor.
